HOW I WORK

Before coaching starts, we have a free intro call where I describe my approach, listen to you and we ask each other questions to ensure we’re a good fit for each other. This takes no longer than 40 minutes over the phone.
If we're a good fit, we'll agree the type of coaching most relevant for you and set up an agreement.
The coaching I do generally falls into three areas:

INITIAL ASSESSMENT & DROP INT SESSIONS

Who is it for?

These sessions are for anyone who is feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure which way to turn. You might want to make changes but have no idea where to start. You might be faced with a potentially unsettling change such as an organisational restructure or house move/life change and need help working out where to focus and how.  Or, you may simply have a risk or issue you want help assessing and responding to.

 

What to expect:

I have a proven track record in helping people to organise their thoughts, understand the underlying motivations or (often hidden) blocks in order to prioritise what is really important. The more complicated the better. 

In these assessment & drop in sessions, I will help you cut through the noise to organise, group and prioritise all of the questions, ideas and challenges you have in your head so you know where to focus next.

Depending on the level of support you need or the time you have, this takes between 1 and 3 sessions to leave you with the confidence of knowing your priorities and what action to take next. The work we do here may also identify bigger themes, projects or changes that you might want to take forward through executive or change making coaching.

Good to know:

These sessions provide a good way to share the load and organise your head space so you can focus. They also provide a good introduction for new clients who want a 'taster' for how I work and want to work on bigger changes together through exec coaching or change making / support packages.

 

EXECUTIVE & 

LEADERSHIP COACHING

Who is it for?

These sessions are aimed at individuals and leaders who need help making better decisions at home or in work, who want to make greater impact managing stakeholders, projects or teams, or find balance across personal and professional projects.

You may need help understanding the personal and professional changes you need to make as you step into a leadership role, including how to speak out and be heard amongst new peers.

You may need support influencing and responding to challenging stakeholders, board members or peers or need support navigating through a toxic or troubling environment.

You may be an entrepreneur looking to work more effectively or better manage your time as your business grows.

You may want support managing competing priorities or challenges, or want to know how to feel comfortable through organisation or big life changes.

 

Executive/ Leadership coaching will help you become a better leader and make better decisions for yourself and your teams.

 

What to expect:

Executive/ Leadership coaching starts with the identification of key themes or areas that you want to work on and the desired change. We then map out the steps required, or you might decide to use current, relevant situations or issues (‘what’s hot right now’) that we can use to plan and enact the change together.

 

These sessions last between 45 and 90 minutes depending on the intensity of the environment you are in and how much you want to cover during and between each session. These sessions are planned in blocks of 4-6 sessions and you have the option to ‘pay as you go’ once six sessions are completed. 
 

Good to know: 

These sessions are are good for people who want help working some things out in their head, but don’t need full planning and execution support - i.e. they have some motivation, time or opportunity to test and implement the changes between the coaching sessions. 

 

CHANGE MAKING AND BUSINESS SUPPORT PACKAGES

Using the same principles as executive and business coaching, this package provides a structured framework with optional phases and tools (that I develop with you), plus additional check-ins, insights and write ups to motivate, inform and empower you to make the changes you want to.

Who is it for?

People wanting to make big changes - either positive or negative - and who want the additional support and accountability of regular check-ins, insights and a framework of tools to plan and enact change.

 

You might be frustrated with habits or recurring situations that don’t sit right, or you don’t feel you have the time, capacity or tools to fix things on your own.

Or you want to re-evaluate and refocus your time and energy across personal or business projects, in a way that is better suited to your values, strengths and preferences.

We work together to really dig into the hesitations you might feel and what needs to change.
 

What to expect: 

The phases, tools and insights provided through this framework draw on my neuroscience, corporate, programme and people management training and experience.

We will start by defining the change you want to make and how that sits within your current priorities and identify the most appropriate change tools and phases relevant to you. This may lead into an exploration of your values, or impact assessment before creating plans for you to implement the change yourself or for us to work on together. The number of sessions, phases and length of this arrangement really depends on the size and complexity of the change and level of support you want from me. We may work on several phases over several months, driving a plan of experiments together, or you may just want help getting set up with a plan and some key tools that will enable you to enact the change yourself.

 

Good to know: 

If it seems like a lot, don’t worry! it is very much dependent on how clear you are about the change you want to make and how confident you are to apply the changes as they are realised. We will always break it down into blocks with agreements of 4, 6 or 12 sessions with a clear goal in advance.

 

We agree a set monthly fee with fixed check-ins in a format and frequency and pace to suit you.

This framework works really well for people who need help getting started, but with the option to continue on their own once a plan has been developed.

You may want to start with an assessment and drop in session first to help clear your head and make space for this change work.
